Disclosure about the company that performs the work
Atlanta Water Damage Restoration operates a telephone and online intake service. It does not extract water, dry structures, remediate mold or carry out repairs. Each request is passed to an independent, licensed local restoration company, the partner for that job, and that company alone is responsible for its assessment, estimate, equipment, workmanship and any contractor licence it is required to hold.
Georgia's State Licensing Board for Residential and Commercial General Contractors licenses residential and general contractors, and this notice makes no statement about whether any particular mitigation task requires that licence. Georgia does not issue a licence specific to mold inspection or remediation. Industry credentials such as those from the IICRC are issued by a private body, not by the state. Neither Atlanta Water Damage Restoration nor this website holds a contractor licence or an IICRC credential, and neither claims one.
Callers may request the partner's contractor licence number by telephone at (833) 490-5225, at any hour, or when the company calls ahead before arriving. No licence number is published on this website. Any number provided can be checked against the Secretary of State's licence lookup before repair work begins.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in Georgia is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
